animals fostered
My retirement dream is to host a ๐ฑ rescue and animal sanctuary. Besides my current cat Pearl and beloved dog Milo (2012-2024 ๐ฆ), I've been involved with volunteering and fostering animals for local shelters since 2019!
Here is a space for the lovely animals that I've gotten to know over the years!
The loveliest dog anyone could ever ask for! Adopted in 2019 from GPI in Seattle (an *amazing* organization) after being a rescued backyard racer in Ohio & Idaho. Passed peacefully in 2024.
Loving, chubby, anxious, perpetually sick, cuddly, old-man-stuck-in-a-girl-cat-body! Not as angry as she looks in this photo, I just love this photo. Adopted in 2024 from HARP in Pittsburgh.
Sibling of Raven. Just the most adorable cat I've ever seen! Had the cutest short stumpy body and warmed up quickly.
Sibling of Beetle. A bit sassy but tolerated me :) She was so beautiful, and she knew it! The much more playful and brave of her and her sibling Beetle!
Came in matted, not potty trained, and scared of the outside. Named him Chicken since he looked like a chicken when he first came :) Loved to lick & be near you at all times. He left joyful, comfortable, potty trained, and found a home quickly once ready!
Sibling of Pichu. Very shy naturally, but brave if he sees his sibling adventure first!
Sibling of Bulbasaur. Super playful, brave, and the leader of his siblings!
Just the funniest cat I've fostered. Got his head stuck in various objects, stood up like a human, and liked to watch basketball. So loving :-)
Loved life and super friendly. Protective of me from the moment she met me! I miss her a lot.
The smarter and more cautious sibling to Hayley (Williams). Took some time to warm up, then became a cuddly lovebug!
Sibling of Disco. Stubborn, brave, ambitious, and out to conquer the world with her little mustache.
One of the Pokemon litter, but stayed with us the longest as the runt. Pichu was hilarious and SO TINY.
My sister's cat! Sassy, independent, and loyal to those she trusts!
Clearly delineated themselves into the (1) bigger siblings (Squirtle / Umbreon) who were adventurous, bold, and ready for adoption quickly, and (2) the smaller, more shy siblings (Snorlax / Pichu).
Stared at me all day with love. Snorlax was born with fatal internal organ issues, but was well-loved in his short time and passed with love & care with myself & HARP's caring staff.
